5BF 2nd Place -

These were my first attempts since ~February, and I haven't seriously practised since August 2023. Back then I was averaging ~7. Just before this, I'd just tripled-DNFed 4BF (for which I had done a little more practice, but still not much since August 2023).

I second-guessed myself on the J-perm at the end, so got a 9:57+2=9:59.

The second solve was annoying because I struggled slightly to get the blocker on and forgot part of corner memo because of that. Pretty confident that it would have been a success if I had a judge to hold it. Hence corner memo with the blocker already on in the third solve.

On a related note, for some reason I can't do pause-less exec on 3BF in competition any more - all my successes recently have had tons of minor pauses or one big pause. :(
