Following the reveal, Ridge and Caroline divorced, and she began dating Thomas. . But Thomas and Caroline’s relationship has had its ups and downs and they’ve broken up and gotten back together numerous times.. With Thomas returning to Los Angeles with Douglas, this will lead to some mystery about his relationship with Caroline and about Douglas’ paternity.. It’s been hinted that Thomas’ return will reveal a secret, and it could revolve around Douglas.. The question about Douglas’ paternity has been a hot topic with B&B fans.
