This optical illusion can make your eyes feel very strange. When you look at the squares in the middle of the big squares then they seem to be moving...and yet this is a still image.

Some of these work because of the way that the blind spot at the back of our eye affects us, others due to peripheral vision and the fact that we often fill in pictures based on our own experiences.

We don't need to see everything and sometimes we just lose information that we don't need. For example you do not see that your nose is on your face as it is always there, but take a look and you can see it. Most of the time it is just not something we even notice.
