The Greatest Story Ever Told - Avalon sound check (1997)

Avalon's pre-telecast sound check for CBN's 700 Club television taping.

As documented in the previously posted video "Avalon & Twila Paris", Avalon accompanied Twila to a taping of The 700 Club at CBN studios in Virginia Beach, VA in the spring of 1997 while on Twila's "Where I Stand" tour. After taping one song backing Ms. Paris, the group then pre-recorded a tune of their own. This footage is of the group line-checking stage monitors before the actual broadcast recording was taped. The run-though was also a camera angle rehearsal for the CBN crew.

Their debut Album 'Avalon' had just released a few months before. "The Greatest Story Ever Told" was the second single from that project. By the time of this taping, the song had already reached #1 on the radio charts.
