सारांश: हा चित्रपट एका सत्य घटनेवर आधारित आहे. मेरी (स्टेसी बी) सरोगेट आईच्या शोधात भारतात येते. तिला यशोदा (उर्मिला कानेटकर) एक शेतकरी तिच्या मुलाला जन्माला घालायला मिळतो, पण मुलाच्या विकृतीबद्दल कळल्यावर ती निराश होते. मेरी यातून बाहेर पडण्याचा निर्णय घेते आणि भारत सोडते. काही वर्षांनंतर, मेरीने तिचा संयम गमावला आणि परत येऊन आपल्या मुलाला शोधण्याचा निर्णय घेतला.

Plot Synopsis: The film is inspired by a true incident. Mary (Stacy Bee) travels to India in search of a surrogate mother and chooses Yashoda (Urmila Kanetkar), a farmer, to bear her child. However, when Mary learns about the child's deformity, she decides to leave India and gives up on the idea. But after a few years, her yearning for her child becomes unbearable, and she returns to India to find her lost child.

The Hindi film 'Mimi' starring Kriti Sanon, Sai Tamhankar is an official remake of 'Mala Aai Vhhaychy'.
