Annex SL New High-level Structure for ISO Management Systems Standards

Quite often, customers ask: "What is ISO Annex SL New High-level Structure?" In simple terms, Annex SL is an ISO standard for ISO standards. I know it sounds funny, but it really is. Since the early days of ISO standards, each ISO Technical Committee developed their standards in a format they thought would fit their audience's best.
