Annex SL New High-level Structure for ISO Management Systems Standards

Описание к видео Annex SL New High-level Structure for ISO Management Systems Standards

Quite often, customers ask: "What is ISO Annex SL New High-level Structure?" In simple terms, Annex SL is an ISO standard for ISO standards. I know it sounds funny, but it really is. Since the early days of ISO standards, each ISO Technical Committee developed their standards in a format they thought would fit their audience's best.

These various formats of ISO standards became evident when companies started using integrated systems. The languages from standard to the standard were different; the clause numerations were different. ISO has created Annex SL to introduce a new high-level structure, identical main text, and common terms and definitions. This allowed users to:
• streamline standards
• encourage standardization
• ease the integration of management systems.

The new high-level structure of the Annex SL defines each management standard's specific requirements in ten clauses. Annex SL New High-level Structure allows consistency between all new management system standards.
