Locations:
Scene 1 – North Curl Curl Beach. The film starts with a spectacular view of North Curl Curl Beach on Sydney's Northern Beaches. The scene extends out beyond the headland and ocean rock pool where a perspective of ocean waves crashing into the cliffs and pool is captured. The scene closes with a top down perspective of surfers waiting to catch waves on the sparkling clear waters.

Scene 2 – Waterview Wharf Workshops - Nestled on the eastern shore of the Balmain peninsula, these colorful were originally used as a ship repair yard by the Adelaide Steamship Company. Constructed at the beginning of the 1900s, they are some of the rare remaining examples of maritime industrial architecture on Sydney Harbour.

Scene 3 – Coal Loader and Merchant Vessel Cape Don - Located on the waterfront of the Sydney suburb of Waverton, the Coal Loader is an abandoned industrial site that operated from the early 1920s to the early 1990s. Whilst the sites tunnels and buildings have been repurposed, the old pier is in disrepair and is now a home for seabirds as it creaks with distant memories.
Anchored beside the pier is the retired Merchant Vessel 'Cape Don'. A former lighthouse tender, there is a desire to restore the ship to its former glory and utilise it as a museum and training vessel.

Scene 4 – We return to Curl Curl Beach - starting off at Curl Curl lagoon. Here a flock of seagulls pass by the camera not once, but twice, whilst the lagoon surface reflects like a mirror. Then we travel along the dunes that border the beach, travelling the entire distance of Curl Curl Beach from north through to south where yet another ocean rock pool resides.
