the song is called 犬の生活 (my life as a dog). apparently in japan these lyrics were considered very outrageous at the time (1998) & were controversial, LoL (something cultural i guess). it's about a guy who is in love with a girl, is rejected by her, learns she likes little dogs, & so, he wishes to turn into her dog, & then, by magic, to his surprise, he does, but then, everything goes deeply wrong but he can't become human again, he is trapped as a dog, & his sacrifice for the girl is no longer worth it... pretty sad... horrible really...
