Owning a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, or 'Evo' as it is commonly known, is a bucket list goal for many a petrolhead, especially those who were raised on Gran Turismo, Need For Speed and Fast & Furious movies.

But when it comes to actually buying and living with one, what is it really like? And what can you expect in the way of both good and bad points as a trade off to driving one of these road going rally legends, from living with it as a daily driver or toy, to heavily tuning one for road performance, trackdays or even competition use?
