DESCRIPTION.

Chicago PD and Person of Interest crossover.

The Machine sends Shaw to Chicago undercover, giving her a new identity. She is now a police officer working with Halstead in Hank Voight's team.
Her own investigation leads her to the "Reverie" program, becoming a part of which Samina face consequences that she is unable to cope with. Personality disorder leads to derealization (inability to distinguish reality from hallucinations). The Machine decides to withdraw Sameen from this mission, but the rapidly developing relationship with Halstead is becoming a problem. Without telling him about derealization, she investigates another case. As a result of the shootout, she, covering her partner, is seriously injured. Doctors reassure the team that she has a good chance of survival, however, a few days later the team is informed that Sameen died. No one suspected that Shaw’s death was falsified and that the Samaritan was behind it.
