Tales of Destiny PS1 Review

Tales of Destiny 「テイルズ オブ デスティニー」is an action JRPG developed by Wolf Team and published by Namco for the Sony PlayStation between 1997 and 1998 in Japan and North America.

Years after a war between those that lived in the sky, and those on the land, a young man named Stahn Aileron is caught stowing away on an airship. After being forced into manual labor as payment for passage, he becomes caught up in a monster attack, and finds the forbidden shipment that bonds with him, and allows him to defend himself. The Swordian - Dymlos - is a relic of the war, and he along with other Swordians have lain dormant until such a time as they were needed again. The fact that they are waking up, means that something sinister is going down.

Years ago, a meteor crashed into the earth, shattering a scattering small fragments of it which have become known as Lens. Lens can be used as a currency, but also as a source of energy that allows a human to cast magic, so it's sought out by people across the world.

Join Stahn and his companions on an adventure in search of a powerful artefact known as the Eye of Atamoni, which is said to be one of the most powerful Lens in the world.
