COS 2024: Enhanced Staggered Downpayment Scheme for young couples

The government will improve the Staggered Downpayment Scheme for young couples purchasing their first HDB flat. They will now only be required to pay 2.5% of the flat price as downpayment, regardless of whether they opt for an HDB housing loan or a loan from a financial institution.

Minister for National Development Desmond Lee was speaking in Parliament on 5 March 2024.
