Join us as we react to HBO's The Last of Us' very first episode, titled 'When You're Lost in the Darkness'

We have all long waited for this day to watch Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie as they cope with life in the QZ in Boston after the global collapse of society due to the Cordyceps virus, which is infamously known within the Last of Us universe.

Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin have done a fantastic job at building and recreating this world from the original PS3 game. We got our first glimpse at the Infected, the Cordyceps virus, the Runners and even a tease to a Runner about to become a Clicker, fused to the wall - just like the game!

Nico Parker as Sarah completely steals the show and our hearts, as does Gabriel Luna as Tommy , who manages to somehow be incredibly unique yet sound exactly like the version in the game! Anna Torv manages to capture the wonderful vulnerability and badassness of Tess, and overall this adaptation managed to not only re-introduce us to this world, but also expand on it in ways that were refreshing, and in no way intrusive to the source material.
