Open for the 2pm newscast from the CW O&O in the San Francisco-San Jose-Oakland, California Bay Area, owned by Nexstar Media Group. Recorded Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

This is the very first newscast with Nexstar's newest graphics package, "Circa". Circa was mainly developed by freelancer Jon Berry, and KRON spearheaded the development of the package on their end. They also commissioned a brand new custom package from Stephen Arnold Music which incorporates the iconic "KRON Instant Classics" sonic logo. Finally, longtime voiceover artist Thom Pinto was replaced by Josh Goodman. KRON made the switch due to their 75th anniversary.
