March 5th found me up in Belton. I decided to head up there to film one of the town's Sentry 20V2T sirens for its monthly test. Beforehand, I had emailed the city to confirm that they were testing, so I was fairly confident they would despite the overcast weather. I sent my dad to a Whelen WPS-2904 on the south side of town, where he saw a city worker in a truck watching that siren. That one failed, explaining why he or she was there. Thankfully, the system activated and ended up running for a full 3-minute alert cycle. Wish they did attack or something interesting as well, but this was cool too.

This is my first time recording a Sentry siren. It was certainly not ear-shattering like the 508 and 1000T I went to, but omnidirectional sirens tend to be a bit quieter. It still packed a punch and left my ears ringing. I always forget earplugs. Lol.
