Red Deer Hunting. The long search for Reds

This is a journey that started almost a year ago. A promise I made to myself to commit a full year of my time and see it through to the end, no matter what the final outcome.
Little did I know it would become one of the hardest undertakings I have embarked upon. Trip after trip of doubt and disappointment with just enough hope to stay the course.
This is the last 8 days of that journey, 8 days of hard hunting and inhospitable weather in which the forest did not give up her secrets up until the final hours.
