POLKADOT DECODED is a virtual conference for the Polkadot community, featuring talks and workshops on all things Polkadot.

Presentation summary:
Acala is a Substrate-based, EVM Compatible parachain that aggregates currently fragmented liquidity, and serves as a landing pad and more so a ubiquitous DeFi hub for DApps to access a multi-chain universe in the Polkadot ecosystem and beyond.

We will showcase how DApps can be built using a hybrid of composable tech stack and Acala’s DeFi lego blocks (decentralized stablecoin, staking derivative, and DeX). For example, enable Bitcoiners trustlessly to participate in Polkadot PoS without selling BTC, and create a trustless smart savings account, and more.

We hope to demonstrate what is possible (‘Known’), and categorically different innovations that Polkadot and Substrate enable, and inspire more builders and innovators to create the Web3 future together - the ‘Unknown’ is more exciting!
