MiSTer FPGA Sega 32X Core is UPDATED! Major Improvements on Sega's Genesis Add on Console!

SRG320 just updated the Sega 32X core with new code...AGAIN...so of course we are going to test the new binary and see how it performs. Seriously...the improvements in performance and compatibility is a small retro gaming miracle!

Note: this is the BRAND NEW April build of the Sega 32X core for MiSTer FPGA and NEW GAMES WORK and many games have some great improvements. A lot of this work is probably also foundational to Srg320 and his work on the Sega Saturn FPGA core

THIS IS THE LATEST TEST OF 2023…and I can't wait to follow along with the Sega 32X FPGA core progress in 2023. It's been incredible to watch the retrogaming community test the Sega 32X core from Srg320 and I can't wait to see more improvements!

Note: currently at the recording of this video the core is manually installed via unstable nightlies on the MiSTer FPGA Discord!
