যারা ফসল ফলায়, কোটি মানুষের অন্ন জোটায় তাদের শ্রমের ফসল লুটে নেয় সিন্ডিকেট। ত্রুটিপুর্ন বাজার ব্যবস্থায় অসহায় কৃষক পাশে পায়না কাউকে। প্রতি বছর মরার ওপর খড়ার ঘা হয়ে হাজির হয় বন্যা-খড়া, ভাঙ্গন, অনাবৃষ্টি, অতিবৃষ্টির মতো প্রাকৃতিক দূর্যোগ। এমন দূর্যোগ-দূর্বিপাকে কৃষক আটকা পড়ে ঋণের জ্বালে। ফলে শ্রম, সময়, অর্থ বিনিয়োগ করেও লাভ নিয়ে অনিশ্চয়তায় থাকে উৎপাদক, ভোক্তার মধ্যেও দানা বাঁধে অসন্তোষ। এমনি ভাবে স্বাস্থ্য, শিক্ষা, অর্থনীতি সব দিক থেকে পশ্চাদপদ উত্তরের জনপদ। পিছিয়ে থাকা এ জনপদের মানুষের সঙ্কট-সম্ভাবনার গল্প ক্যামেরার ফ্রেমে তুলে আনতে চায় সংযোগ।
