Many people have told me that I’m delusional to think I can build my dream 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with a pool in the Philippines for under $55,000 USD. And to be honest, the last few days I've started to wonder—are they right? Or did I just get incredibly lucky with an amazing architect and contractor?

I realise I forgot to discuss the Payment Schedule. Here it is:

The total project cost is PHP 2,966,766, and payments are structured as follows:

60% Down Payment (PHP 1,780,059.60): Covers structural works for the first 10 weeks, including piping for electrical and plumbing.

35% (PHP 1,038,368.10): Paid upon completion of structural works and the start of architectural finishes, such as plumbing, electrical, and dipping pool utilities.

5% Balance (PHP 148,338.30): Paid in two installments—3% at turnover and 2% six months after completion.
