Hey folks, back in Tokyo for another round of exploration. Treasure hunting through the city's amazing secondhand shops and watch boutiques has been our bread and butter but do not fold right away because we have more than that in our lineup!

Thrifting for Timepieces

Japan is a watch lover's paradise, and Tokyo is the epicenter of it all. From vintage Rolexes and Omegas to quirky Seiko automatics, you can find some incredible timepieces at a fraction of their retail price.

One of my favorite spot would be in the form of BookOff Super Bazaar in any area of Japan. They have a huge selection of watches from all the major brands, as well as some lesser-known gems. I found a beautiful vintage Rolex Submariner there that was in mint condition for a fraction of the price.

But the real treasures are often found in the backstreets of Tokyo. There are countless tiny shops tucked away in alleyways, filled with unique and affordable watches. You just have to be patient and do some digging to find them.

More than just watches of course, Tokyo is not just about watches. The city is also a mecca for fashion and design. You can find everything from high-end designer boutiques to quirky vintage stores.

Thrifting in Tokyo is more than just a shopping experience; it's a cultural immersion. You get to interact with locals, learn about their fashion sense, and discover hidden gems that you would never find in a tourist shop.

So if you're ever in Tokyo, be sure to take some time to explore the city's secondhand shops. You might just find the perfect watch or piece of clothing to take home as a souvenir.

Tokyo is a city of contrasts, where tradition meets the modern. It's a city that I love and always look forward to returning to. And if you're a watch lover like me, it's a city that you simply must visit.

This huge BookOff Super Bazaar stands as a special store in my heart because this is the place where I bought my first ever Seiko automatic watch in the form of SARV003! There is no way that we will skip paying our respect in this goldmine!

Right after setting our foot in the watch section, Grand Seiko, Rolex, Omega, Cartier made sure that their presence will demand for your attention. You can be the judge if the prices for those watches gives justice for our budget. Do not worry because for a budget traveler like me, Seiko, GShocks and more brands are available to play around for what is attainable in our budget.

Seeing some vintage Tissot watch was also an amazing view which I never expected.

Since there are luxury watches, designer bags will definitely have a corner and they might steal some of your time. LV, Prada, Hermes, Gucci, just name the brand and there is a great chance that they have it up waiting for you to be bought.

A wall of sneakers also ready for you guys! I was not able to highlight everything but those shoes are just insane! But be reminded that this is a secondhand store so just manage your expectation for some items and limited with the sizes as well.

Overall, I still recommend this place because it is very easy to visit from Tokyo and they have a huge number of items!

Make sure to have your snack before watching this episode because we are packed in our entire Tokyo trip as it beat as the heart of Japan!
