FITZMEDIA VAULT - TAKING A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE - ANGELS ON LEGS DOCUMENTARY.

As we move towards rolling out some new initiatives, we have been looking back on our time so far and some of our 'firsts', and we want to share some of our work from years past.

Tonight, we re-share Fitzmedia's first 'long form' documentary called 'Angels On Legs'.

This was produced in September 2018, inside Fitzmedia's first five months.

Liam was commissioned by 'Warrnambool Hospice in the Home in the Home (Now Warrnambool and District Community Hospice ) to produce a short feature about what this organisation did for our community.

When this was produced, Hospice was just three-years-old, and was a quarter of the size it is now.

We wanted to share the story of Hospice, so that funding to help it operate could be sort from Government and also Local Philanthropic Trusts.

Liam interviewed some founding members of the organisation as well as clients and carers from around Warrnambool.

This mini-doco was the first of its kind to be shared on local social media, and proved that videos posted to Facebook could be longer than two-minutes, provided they remain engaging.

It's also fitting that we we-share this feature as Warrnambool and District Hospice prepares to celebrate it's 10th anniversary.

From our perspective, we only had around 1,500 followers when this was released, so the chances are many of you may not have seen it.

We are proud of where we have come, and we want to celebrate it with you.
