QCG Fly Tying Dropper Minnow Baitfish Fly (Mini Martins Minnow)

This video covers tying QCG's Dropper Minnow. It's not the same pattern but very similar to the Martins Minnow which is an awesome proven pattern by Martin Smith @mscustomflies but our version is shrunk down a little. This little 2 inch baitfish pattern has a small tungsten bead up front giving it a great jigging action but it can still be suspended by most decent sized foam poppers or wigglies (Chubbies, Cicadas, stuff with foam and rubber legs). It's called a dropper minnow (mostly because I'm not good at naming flies) but it fishes just fine by itself or even in a tandem streamer rig.
