Speaker Bio:
Milan Ivey is a seasoned professional with a robust background in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). Currently, he serves as the DEIB Manager at Amarr in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he has been instrumental in developing and implementing their DEI strategic plan since March 2024.

Previously, Milan held the role of Diversity Program Manager and Regional Talent Acquisition Manager at Cracker Barrel, where he successfully drove diversity initiatives and talent acquisition efforts from October 2019 to June 2023.

Milan’s strong foundation in multi-unit management, gained during his tenure at McAlister’s Deli, showcases his exceptional leadership and operational skills. His service as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army Reserve further underscores his commitment to discipline and service.

Milan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Southern New Hampshire University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Employee Relations at Penn State. He is SHRM-CP certified and has earned a certification in diversity and inclusion for HR from Cornell University.

Outside of his professional life, Milan is a devoted family man, married with two children, a 3-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter.
