Описание к видео Pancha Maha Yagna

Pancha Maha Yagna are the five types of Yagnas or sacrifices that we all do without knowing. These Pancha Maha Yagnas are called the 1. Deva Yagna 2, Rishi Yagna 3. Pitru Yagna 4. Nara Yagna 5. Bhootha Yagna.
1. Deva Yagna is about living in harmony with the five elements of the Nature like the Earth, Air, Water, Fire and Akash.

Yagna is about give and take.

1. We take something from the Nature and we got to give it back to the Nature with as little pollution as possible. If not the Gods or the five forces of Nature like Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Akasha will punish us. This is Deva Yagna,

2. Rishi Yagna is about studying scriptures like Ramayana, Mahabharata, Panchatantra, Tirukkural etc and also teaching others about them. Here we take the Gyan from the Rishis or Gyanis and give it back to the world.

3. Pitru Yagna is about living in such a way that we don't bring disrepute to our departed ancestors. Our departed ancestors would have lived their life in a very virtuous manner amidst all kinds of obstacles. We need to uphold their principles, culture etc and live in the world so as to make our departed ancestors feel happy about us. Pitru Yagna is also about giving pind dhan to them at the appropriate dates.

4. Nara Yagna is about living in the society as a friend to our neighbors and relatives who need our help. Here our help need not be in the form of only money. It can also be in the form of shramdhan.

5. Bhootha Yagna. This Earth belongs to all kinds of creatures like plants, insects, trees, animals etc. We need to live in harmony with them. Only then we can live. If we cut down the forests out of our avarice then we will be losing rainfall, which will again make us suffer. Hence we need to live in harmony with the Mother Nature.

These are all called the Pancha Maha Yagnas.
