On Monday 14th October 2024, our CEO, Harriet Lamb, Recycle Week Ambassador JJ Chalmers and our crew of recyclable characters took to 10 Downing Street to deliver a letter to Prime Minister Keir Starmer, asking for the PM and the public's help to rescue more recycling.

With UK households binning 1 billion recyclable items every year, the time to act is now!

We found that while 88% of the UK regularly recycle (🙌), nearly eight out of ten of us put one or more items in the bin that could have been recycled (👎).

By recycling all of our often-forgotten toilet roll tubes, trigger spray bottles, deodorants, fragrance bottles and yoghurt pots, we can reduce the need for landfills and incinerators and keep materials in use for longer.
