‘Up Pompeii’ by Frankie Howerd, this was the theme tune to the film which was a spin off to the BBC series of the same name. Frankie Howerd was possibly the funniest man who ever lived and probably spawned more catch phrases than any other comedian.
This single, released in 1971, sadly never reached the UK charts. The production is brilliantly over the top like much of Frankie’s work.
