Roadtrip Georgien mit Womo - Von Svaneti nach Vardzia // Woche 112 - Svaneti & Vardzia (Georgien)

Wir fahren mit dem Womo weiter durch Georgien, unser Abenteuer mit unserem Roadtrip durch Georgien geht also weiter. Wir fahren durch Georgien mit Kindern, und wir haben diese Woche ganz viele Tipps um Georgien mit Kindern zu besuchen. Wir reisen mit dem Wohnmobil vom Norden Georgiens in den Süden, und besuchen während unserer Georgien Reise 2021 wunderschöne Orte sowie Svaneti, Vardzia, die Prometheus Grotte und das Schloss von Achalziche.

Wir fangen aber an im Sataplia Park in der Nähe von Kutaisi, endlich nochmal eine Aktivität nur für die Kinder! Im Sataplia Park gibt es echte Dino Spuren, und Maketten von Dinos. Nicht jeder hat das aber so gemocht.

Ganz in der Nähe von Sataplia ist die Prometheus Grotte zu finden. Die Prometheus Grotte ist sehr beeindruckend, vor allem wegen der Fahrt auf einem unterirdischen Fluss!

Von der Prometheus Grotte geht es dann weiter in den Süden von Georgien, in die Stadt Achalziche. Diese Stadt ist ganz bekannt für das Schloss von Achalziche, aber wir haben mit den Kindern da auch sehr viel Spass gehabt: Fussball, Spielplatz,... Georgien mit Kindern ist wirklich ganz cool!

Ganz in der Nähe von Achalziche gibt es ein wunderschönes Kloster, Sapara. Das Sapara Kloster ist schon ganz alt, und wird heute immer noch verwendet.

Von dort fahren wir weiter zu einem der echten Highlights von Georgien: die Wardzia (Vardzia) Höhlenstadt! Diese Stadt wurde vor 900 Jahren in den Felsen gebaut, und diente als Schutz gegen den Feind. Ganz beeindruckend!

Von dort ist die Grenze nicht mehr weit, und da fahren wir jetzt hin. Neue Abenteuer warten auf uns in einem neuen Land.

We continue to drive through Georgia with the mobile home, so our adventure during our road trip through Georgia continues. We are driving through Georgia with children, and this week we have a lot of tips for visiting Georgia with children. We travel with the motorhome from the north of Georgia to the south, and visit beautiful places like Svaneti, Vardzia, the Prometheus Cave and the castle of Akhaltsikhe during our Georgia trip in 2021.

But we start in Sataplia Park near Kutaisi, finally an activity just for kids! In Sataplia Park there are real dinosaur tracks and dinosaur mockups. But not everyone liked it that much...

The Prometheus Cave can be found very close to Sataplia. The Prometheus cave is very impressive, especially because of the ride on an underground river!

From the Prometheus cave we continue to the south of Georgia, to the city of Akhaltsikhe. This city is well known for the Akhaltsikhe Castle, but we also had a lot of fun with the children: football, playground, ... Georgia with children is really really cool!

There is a beautiful monastery, Sapara, very close to Akhaltsikhe. The Sapara Monastery is very old and is still in use today.

From there we continue to one of the real highlights of Georgia: the Wardzia (Vardzia) cave city! This city was built into the rock 900 years ago and served as a protection against the enemy. Quite impressive!

The border is not far from there, and that's where we're going now. New adventures are waiting for us in a new country.
