Part number 242252702, AP5671757, 240321801, 240505101, 240505102, 240508101, 240508102, 240531101, 241734301, 241734302, 2692163, PS7784018.

WARNING: Before starting any repair, always make sure that the appliance is completely disconnected from the power source by unplugging it.

Tools Needed:
1/4 inch Nut Driver

Step-by-step how-to instructions for replacing the Water Inlet Valve (part number 242252702) in an Electrolux Refrigerator

1. Disconnect appliance from its power source
2. Turn the appliance around
3. Remove the 4 screws on the back
4. Remove the cardboard and place it to the side
5. Remove the two screws holding in the water inlet valve with your ¼ inch nut driver
6. Remove all of the wire harnesses and the water tube
7. Grab your new oem replacement water inlet valve and place it in
8. Reattach the wire harnesses and the water tube
9. Screw in the two screws holding in the water inlet valve you took out previously
10. Screw in the 4 screws to the cardboard piece you took out previously
11. Repair is complete
12. Don’t forget to plug in your appliance to its power source
