How to make Overlapping Effect using Trim Command. | Coreldraw 2021

In this tutorial we will be learning how to use Trim command. I'll show you step by step method to get overlap effect. Using this feature is also helpful in logo designing.

The trim command creates a single curve from 2 or more components.

The components must overlap. Trim forms shape of the selected object (source of object) into the object you trim to where it overlaps. (Target Object)

Draw a rectangle. Now draw a second rectangle that overlaps the first. With the second rectangle selected, click Trim and with the arrow cursor that appears click on the first rectangle.
