Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh’s brother arrested in Punjab’s Phillaur; Ice drug recovered from him

The Jalandhar rural police, on Thursday evening, nabbed pro-Khalistan activist and Member of Parliament from Khadoor Sahib Amritpal Singh’s brother Harpreet Singh from Phillaur and recovered 4 gm of Ice from his possession.

So far, three people have been nabbed by the police in the case. They have been identified as Amritpal’s brother Harpreet Singh alias Happy, resident of Jallupur Khera in Khiljian and Lovepreet Singh, resident of Beas, as well as Sandeep Arora, resident of Itnagar in Hebowal, Ludhaina, who had supplied narcotics to the duo.

An FIR was registered under Sections 22, 27 and 29 of the NDPS Act at the Phillaur police station on Thursday.

Harpreet and Lovepreet had been nabbed in a Creta car on the Phillaur-Amritsar highway while patrolling.
