How do I expand my dripline for my drip irrigation system?

Step by step instruction on how to expand your dripline using Raindrip's Universal Smart Loc™ coupler.

Today we are going to show you how to expand your dripline system. Dripline has built in drippers evenly spaced for precision watering. Let's get started. The easiest way to expand your dripline if you do not know the size is to use the Raindrip Smart-Loc Universal Coupler. The Smart-Loc Universal coupler will fit most popular sizes of dripline regardless of the manufacturer. To connect this fitting, you first need to rotate the nut to the bottom of the coupler, twisting it clockwise until tight. Now push the dripline onto the coupler. Make sure the end of the dripline is past the barb and is secure inside the fitting. Finally, twist the nut counter-clockwise over the dripline to lock it in place. Once the fitting is installed, connect your expansion dripline to the other end of the coupler using the same method. If you do know the size of your dripline, simply use the correct size compression coupling, ½ inch or 5/8 inch. For more than 30 years, Raindrip, Inc.
