On a warm and sunny afternoon in May 1992 in North Lanarkshire, Class 26 locomotives were becoming increasingly rare. However, on this particular day, luck was on the cameraman's side as one appeared, traveling light-engine south through the station. Also present were Class 37 locomotives, alongside the usual first-generation EMUs running local services, as well as the typical mainline freight and passenger trains.
