Boxing Day Duck Flight

A Boxing Day Duck flight on a pond with one of my best mates. What can be more enjoyable than that. I really needed this too. After being held up in the house with the family all Christmas god love em. It was just ace to be in the fresh air. We had some fantastic sport, while at the same time accounting for a couple of bonus pests, of which Dewayne is employed to control in that area anyway. They weren’t just shot for the hell of it.
We could have shot more and for longer, but we’d both felt that we’d shot enough. It leaves plenty for Dewayne to take someone else to enjoy a spot of duck shooting.
All of these Ducks have gone in to the freezer, the squirrel and pigeons we’re used to feed the game keepers birds of prey.
I learned a lot from filming with the IR camcorder on this one. I think if I get the chance again, I’ll set it up differently so you guys get to see more of the action.
