COIMBATORE to MUMBAI by Swamy Ayyappa Travels Volvo Sleeper bus | Inaugral Trip | 1450 kms journey

One of the most anticipated bus journey is finally here. Was lucky to travel in the maiden inaugural bus journey from Coimbatore to Mumbai by the beautiful Swamy Ayyappa Travels' MG Starz Volvo B11R Sleeper bus. The bus is extremely beautiful and we'll maintained from inside. The bus was full from Bengaluru onwards. Traveling in Volvo Starz after long time.

There were many things to like in this Journey.

1. The bus crew: Polite and customer service oriented.
2. Amenities and snacks provided: In total 3 snack boxes were given for end to end customers. People who boarded from Bengaluru towards Pune or Mumbai also received the big snack box. More importantly got dental kit (toothbrush, toothpaste & comb). This was very thoughtful for the long journey. Also water bottle was given.
3 Bus amenities: Pillow, blanket and good ac made the journey really comfortable. Regular halts in between for tea, dinner, breakfast and lunch.

This bus starts from Coimbatore Omni bus stand and the departure time is 1:15 pm. It is scheduled to reach Mumbai by 1:15 pm (Borivali). However, due to the traffic after Salem and Bengaluru the bus is usually delayed. However, the crew does try it's best to try and cover up. From Mumbai the bus leaves at 1:15 pm (Borivali National park) and scheduled to reach Coimbatore Omni Bus Stand by 1:15 pm as well. It's a 24 hours journey and depending on traffic will reach its destination accordingly. The fare is as per boarding point. A lot of the passengers were from Bengaluru and didn't know that this was the inaugural service so they were pretty surprised when they received the snack box 😁.

The bus was doing very good speeds as and when had good roads and also overtook many buses including VRL Volvo. The bus reached Sion my dropping point at 4:30 pm. Quite late mainly because of the Bengaluru traffic. The driving was really good as well. Sadhik bhai highly experienced driver and both drivers tried to maintain a good speed throughout the journey. I would definitely recommend to travel by this bus and I will again in future.
