Well, I'm not that active on YouTube and totally didn't notice when the subscriber count surpassed 150, so this is coming a bit late. But thank you guys so much for taking the time to listen to the music I share! Your comments and support mean a lot to me and have inspired me to keep going with recording and sharing these. So this video is dedicated to all of you, the kind subscribers that you are. :D Speaking of which...

The Lord Ruler's Arrival! It's finally here! I've been saying so many times that I have a song for this scene I've been working on, and it's finally ready to share. This song takes place directly in-between "Kelsier vs Inquisitor" and "Lament for Kelsier". The three songs are meant to instantly transition from one scene to the next in direct succession. So the preferred listening order is "Kelsier vs Inquisitor", "The Lord Ruler's Arrival", and "Lament for Kelsier". As you can see, this is the sequence in the book I've thought up the most music for, as it's one of the central pivotal occurrences in the series, as well as one of my favorite parts. This is why there are so many recurring motifs and all three songs are in the key of G minor.

The song itself: This is for that shocking backhand of a scene where everyone's hope at Kelsier killing the Inquisitor is snuffed out by the Lord Ruler's dominating presence, his arrival in the square, the skaa spearing him through the chest with no success, the face-to-face confrontation of the Lord Ruler with Kelsier, Kelsier's final words of hope, and... well, you know the rest. You'll know it when you hear it.

I had much of this song structured for quite a long time, but there were little details I couldn't find the right notes for, like the two spears through the chest moment. So I took my time with this one (maybe took TOO long with it) before I felt it was ready to share. Of course, I'm subject to human error and this is only an electric piano simulating a gothic orchestra, choir, etc., so this is not the ideal presentation of the song as I want it to sound, but it's the best I have to work with so far. This is also the case with many of the other ones.

I hope you enjoy this track I've been promising for years, finally arriving so very late.
