How do we change the status quo? Start by involving young people

Researchers in the School of Education, Communication & Society at King's College London are carrying out a range of projects that seek to engage with young people in a more equal relationship as they believe this will help to create genuine, long-term research impact.

In this video, Dr Clare Coultas, Dr Rana Khazbak and Dr Aisha Hutchinson talk about the value of engaging with young people in research and why we need to do things differently. Based in the Centre for Public Policy Research, their projects range from sexuality education in East Africa, the effect of urban regeneration on young people in London and child marriage in the Middle East and East Africa.
