Today, at the request of our Indian client, we’re testing the plastic film they sent over using our PRS Series Roll to Sheet Cutting machine. This type of material can be processed with either the PRS-G desktop model or the PRS-T all-in-one model. Let’s dive right in! According to their specifications, we’ll be cutting the film into two sizes: 120mm wide by 274mm long and 25mm wide by 25mm long. Given the film's thinness, we’ve activated the circular blade for cutting. First, we’ll set the cutting length and batch size, and then we can start the operation—it’s quite straightforward. The cutting results are clean! Since we’re working with a limited amount of material, we’ve set the speed a bit slower. However, this machine can be adjusted to very high speeds for mass production. Next, we’ll set up the second cutting segment, which involves slitting additional pieces using multiple blades for both vertical and horizontal cuts.
