With an overall length of just over 12 inches, the SCHF37 is a very capable black clad beauty. Seven inches of black powder coated, corrosion resistant high carbon 1095 quarter-inch steel form the backbone of this rugged full tang fixed blade knife.
Pierce with the strong tip. Cut, slice and chop with the fine edged, out-of-the-box razor sharp blade. The generous finger choil provides increased blade control.
The strength and length of the SCHF37 support batoning. And the 90 degree knife spine serves as a striker against a ferro rod.
The contours of the TPE ring textured handle greet your hand with a natural symmetry offering a good grip in the face of changing environmental factors—all the more sure by means of top and underside jimping. Twin steel bolts secure the handle slabs.
Use the tang extension at the handle’s base as a crushing tool. Keep the SCHF37 close by way of cordage passed through the lanyard hole.
The black nylon sheath’s velcro loop makes it a cinch to attach without having to remove your belt. Lash the sheath to your leg… or to gear. The sheath pouch comes generously packed with a ferro rod, striker, and sharpening stone.
