ABOUT THE RECIPE :-
today I sharing with you all a very delicious and delicious home style recipe made from carrot and green peas.
"GAJAR MATAR KI SABZI"

INGREDIENTS :-
1. Carrots (medium diced) :- 300 g
2. Green peas :- 1 cup
3. Onion (chopped) :- 1 no.
4. Tomato puree :- ½ cup (2 no.)
5. Ginger garlic paste :- 1.5 tbsp
6. Green chillies (chopped) :- 4 no.
7. Mustard oil :- 4 tbsp
8. Hing :- 1 tsp
9. Cumin seeds :- 1 tsp
10. Fennel seeds :- 1 tsp
11. Crushed coriander seeds :- 1 tbsp
12. Chopped coriander leaves :- 3 tbsp
13. Turmeric powder :- 1 tsp
14. Red chilli powder :- 1 tbsp
15. Coriander powder :- 1.5 tbsp
16. Salt :- as per taste
17. Water :- as required

METHOD :-
1. Heat mustard oil in a kadhai.
2. Add hing, cumin seeds and fennel seeds, let them splutter.
3. Add in chopped onions and green chillies, sauté them till slight brown in colour.
4. Add in the ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
5. Add in the fresh tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes.
6. Now add in turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and few drops of water and cook the masala well.
7. Once the masala is cooked add the diced carrots and green peas and mix them along with the masala.
8. Add salt to taste and mix well. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
9. Now add in some chopped green chillies (optional) and crushed coriander leaves, give a good mix, cover and cook till the carrots are done .
10. Turn off the flame and finish with chopped coriander leaves.
