2004 Buell Blast Minor Modifications - UPDATED

Installation of upgraded driver foot pegs and windshield. This doesn't show the actual installation, just the results. There are 4 mounting screws used to attach the original fly screen on the front of the bike. Use a hex wrench to remove them, take them with you to a hardware store and get longer ones to mount the new windshield. I replaced mine with Philips head screws. Plan on dropping washers and screws, so clean the area below the bike! As for the pegs, you will need to take the old clevis pin to the store with you to get the right diameter, and take the new foot peg along to get the right length. Use NEW cotter pins in the clevis. You'll need to file the insides of the foot pegs, between the "ears", to get them to fit. Take your time. Each project took about an hour. I added a clamp on wing to the top of the shield. I also removed the wing on the shield. It cracked the windshield.
