We didn't expect to have to break it to our kids that yes, this is still happening MONTHS later without any relief or reprieve. You may have hoped we could skirt by it, but that is not a reasonable option depending on your child’s age.

Flex that parenting muscle. Have the tough talk. Answer the difficult questions and when you don’t know the answer, don’t make something up. Tell them that you will find out and then come back to them with the answer. I promise you they will feel respected, heard, and your bond of trust and safety with your child will deepen 💙💚
