Since this is a game where first impressions are nothing, I felt like this video was necessary. So I put the huge game of Minecraft in a 3 and a half minute video as best as I could.

These carefully picked clips and text should give a good impression of Minecraft and it not being just a game with crappy graphics and green dicks.

No, seriously, it took me like 9 months to put this together, not saying I spent 9 months 24/7 on this video, it was more like once month I would think like "Hey, I still have that awesome idea for a video, should do something more with that." and then end up editing a couple little tweaks with Sony Vegas and not touch it for an another month. Not saying I didn't enjoy making this. I really did, I like editing, making videos, stuff like that. More than anything else. It's just it's hard to work on a project when you don't know what you want to accomplish with. What message do you want to deliver. So a lot of time went on the right way of delivering the message, I did it as best as I could. The meaning of the video and the message actually changed throughout the making about 3 or 4 times. I just started putting videos together to the song with a vague thought of what I wanted this video to be like. I'll try not to do that in the future and focus on quantity more than quality, maybe. Or just not come up with so confusing and big, meaningful ideas that need to be perfect. Quantity is the way to victory, when you want to learn something.

About the clip from inthelittlewoods stream, the second to last video clip, first blurred out clip. So Martyn (inthelittlewood) was joking around and asked a friend of his to host his server with like 1000 player slots or something. It might have been more. A lot of people were watching and everyone got a chance to be on that server. So people were in a flat land and just started doing the only thing they could, building nerdpoles out of dirt. Dirttowers. It really shows what a massive croud of people can just easily do. It was spectacular. Very laggy, but suprisingly playable, considering the amount of people on the server. In the end Martyn couldn't actually get on that server before it crashed. I will soon upload the full clip.
