LAST TRAINS on Bay Colony Railroad's Millis Line - 2022

Описание к видео LAST TRAINS on Bay Colony Railroad's Millis Line - 2022

Last year the Bay Colony had a brief reprise of service on the Millis, MA Rail Line after about three years of no traffic. The railroad's future looked bright at the time with the possibility of regular service but unfortunately it didn't last. One move was done in January bringing loads in and they left sometime in March of 2022. Once again a string of cars showed up in June and left on the last train on July 5, 2022. Now in December of 2023 the Bay Colony has been taken over by the Mass Coastal Railroad making these the last moves on the Millis Line by the Bay Colony. Whether or not Mass Coastal runs trains up here is to be determined but the ink has dried on Bay Colony's operations. This video shows the movement of cement hoppers in January, June, and July 2022. Other than the empties going back in March these were all the movements on the line in that time. Prior to the 2022 operations there were some trains in 2019 when the sporadic service to Tresca Bros was more frequent.
