The Mercury spacecraft in which astronaut John H. Glenn Jr. became the first American to orbit the Earth was named "Friendship 7". On February 20, 1962, Glenn circled the Earth three times. The space flight lasted 4 hours and 55 minutes.
I am very lucky to have seen one of these at this years NW Pinball and Arcade Show. I am even luckier to have found my own this year also. Still hashing out some problems, like the sound, but this was an excellent play test.
