Southern Wedding!

On March 12th in Charleston, we had 50+ mph winds. Due to several bridge closings, we had a 2hr detour to get to Old Wide Awake Plantation!

Though it was less than an ideal situation, driving backroads we had never been before, surrounded by marshlands and pine forests, put us in the perfect mood for Ashlee and Travis’s wedding!

This wedding gave us all the feels of gravel roads, summer evenings, the smell of a pine forest, and stories told around crowded tables.

We truly enjoyed getting to know Travis, Ashlee, and their lovely families. We wish them all the best on the rest of their journey together.
