Watch our 14-day project unfold in just 17 minutes! In this video, we completely remodel our deck, with new boards, a bench, and a new stain. We also redo the landscaping around the deck to highlight our work! We started with replacing any rotten boards, then sanded with a random orbital sander with 80 grit sandpaper, and lastly power-washed to be prepared to stain. Then we stained and stained! Overall we like the Cabot Deck Correct (the color is Mission Brown) but it does require many gallons so keep that in mind! I hope that you can learn from our do it yourself style of deck remodeling! We are very happy with our livable outdoor space!
