Best Butter Pecan Pound Cake Recipe ~ Southern Homemade From Scratch!

Butter Pecan Pound Cake Recipe: 📝
----------------------------------------------------
2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 1/2 sticks butter (softened)
5 Eggs (room temperature)
1 1/2 tsp (or 2 tsp is fine) vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
3 cups all purpose flour flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup sour cream +at 3 tbsp milk room temperature)

Butter Pecan Filling:
1 cup chopped pecans (I prefer roasted)
1/4 cup butter melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 drops vanilla extract
2 drops almond extract
sprinkle of salt

*Bake at 330 degrees F for 1 hour and 25 to 30 minutes depending on your oven. And for the best pound cake results, remember to make sure all of your ingredients are used at room temperature.

Butter Glaze:
4 tbsp butter (melted)
4 tbsp evaporated milk
1 1/2 - 3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
*whisk to combine
