Origami Bookcase Tutorial - Modular - DIY - Paper Kawaii

Learn how to make an origami bookcase to go with the books I made in my previous tutorial. Paper size: 34cm x 17cm, 17cm x 17cm. Use thicker paper for a more sturdy shelf!

▸ I started with A2 Paper and cut to size

You may want to use some glue but it's not necessary.

Fits books made from 15cm x 15cm paper. THE BOOKS ARE ABOUT 3.8 CM.

You can make it for any size book:

Take the size you used to make the pages of the book.

Add 2cm to it. For example, if you started with 10 x 10cm for the pages, the number is 12 cm.

Size for the outer box: 12 x 12 cm

Now double the number.

Size for the shelf: 12 x 24 cm

...for a book made from 20cm square paper it would be 22cm x 22cm and 22cm x 44cm.
