In Episode 139 of ‘Cars, Shops & Collections’ we do a bumper-to-bumper breakdown of one of the most talked about builds at SEMA 2024… A 1970 Chevelle called Whippled!

Our good friend Dustin Hacker and his crew at Nostalgia Hot Rods are the masterminds behind this build. We visit Dustin at REVCity, his classic & muscle car storage facility for this up close look at Whippled!

This year I was one of the broadcast host at SEMA and had the privilege of seeing so many builds up close and personal. Dustin’s 1970 Chevelle was one of the most talked about cars on the show floor, and after SEMA wrapped up and the dust settled people are still talking about Whippled!

Originally a classic big block Chevelle, "WhippleD" underwent a dramatic transformation at the hands of Dustin and his team. At its heart now beats a Supercharged LSX 408 engine, enhanced by a Whipple 3.0 supercharger and powered by CTEK's CS FREE adaptive booster and battery charger. To harness this exceptional power, the build features a Holley Terminator engine management system working in concert with a Tremec T56 transmission, delivering precise control and crisp shifts.
